Well check this out, a group of scientists from the Human Computer Integration Lab at the University of Chicagos computer science department have been working on a force-feedback haptic device called JumpMod.
This device simulates gravity within virtual reality experiences, the weight and motor are activated to create a pull or push on the body when users are trying to jump over something for example in VR.
